Saffie Miles is an illustrator and digital fabricator from Jefferson City Missouri. They graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute with a BFA in Illustration, with a focus in fabrication and mixed media. Saffie utilizes mixed media and fiber in their illustrative work, along with digital media. Their favorite way to illustrate utilizes laser cut felt, then assembling the cut parts as part of a puzzle.

Saffie has had their work published in the Dead Peasant literary and visual arts anthology, “Don’t Look”, summer of 2022. Saffie’s work is published on the cover of the Illustration Department’s comic book anthology, “Covers and Pages”. 

 

In the future, Saffie would like to work as a children’s book illustrator, while making jewelry and 3D printing as a hobby. 

In their free time, Saffie spends their days taking care of houseplants and playing with their cat, Anise.
